On the 5th day of our amazing vacation, we got the opportunity to hook up with Heidi'd long lost 'adopted' brother Henry from Honduras. Henry grew up with and lived with Heidi and her family when they lived in Honduras and they always considered him their brother. Because of visa issues, he has been unable to come to the states and because of various reasons, we haven't been able to go to Honduras to see him--long story short, we haven't seen him since I went to meet Heidi's parents the spring break before we got married--that means we haven't seen him in 7 years--that's way too long.

So the question that you might be asking is how then did you get to see him while you were at the beach? It's because he went to school in Honduras to work of refrigerators, etc and to get some cash and experience, he took a job working for Carnival Cruise Lines. He is currently working on the ship called the "Holiday" and this ship just happened to be in port in Mobile (which is about 45 minutes from where we were staying at the beach) one day while we were at the beach! So we made the trip to see long lost Henry. And it was truly great to see him and we got to spend about 4 hours with him. Henry has a contagious, uplifting personality that is fun to be around. He is always happy and has tons of energy which he used to play with our kids--and the loved him, especially Carson.

Here is Henry heading back to the ship were he will spend the next few months. Please pray for Henry and his family. He has been married for almost two years and has a little boy and he misses them very much. They only reason that he is working away from his family is to gain experience so he can get a better job when he returns to Honduras. We love you Henry and we promise that we won't another 7 years before we hang out again!
